Doilies & Bows

Pretty soon I am going to start working on a couple projects.

The first; because I have all the stuff to make it, is going to be a Doily Necklace. Its a Tea dyed doily attached to a gold chain to make something so simple look so elegant.

The second; is a bow necklace. I'm going to  crochet the bow and then attach a dainty chain to it and VOILA!

I absolutely love this girls wardrobe! Shes really good at putting different pieces together and styling it just right to make it look good. Business Idea

 My brother & I are truly serious about this idea. This summer (2011) we want to open up a Boba/Bubble tea shop or a stand. I absolutely LOVE boba tea! You can get it iced or blended w/little balls of tapioca. It might take a lot of money at first to get the business started and going but in our area we don't have anything like this. So im hoping it will be a hit and everyone likes it! I think mostly I want to do this for me since I can't get it unless I drive 4 hours away.

So... I was online today and came across this wonderful instant camera by fuji. I know it's not vintage or anything but I know this little guy takes good quality pictures. I'm excited to try it out myself one day.

New little Present

I made these little LegWarmers for my little niece who still yet has to be born. She is due in March So hopefully when winter comes they will fit her perfectly!!! Their color is Gray and then there is White hand stitched floss along the top and bottom. I have a feeling they are going to look pretty cute on little chubby legs. :)

Layover

Last night, we ended up stopping and getting a hotel in Chicago. Then today we went and did a little shopping. And now we are back on the road and ready to go.

The start of a very long trip

Finally! It's time. We are now starting our trek out West. It was delayed for 4 days, due to the case of a horrible cold. 30 hours in one small car=Sleeping time, iPod listening, and some Good quality talks.

I usually dress in bright colors or black. But I am just starting to get into browns. I still like to add a little pop of color though (hence the light blue/green shoes)  Still keepin' it tame though.

Many people don't know, but I play the Ukulele. I have been playing for about a year and I absolutely love it! Im not a beginner but I'm definitely not pro, so I guess that would make me fall somewhere in the middle.

New Blog Project:

So this may be a completely dumb idea but I was trying to think of what kind of posts I could put on my blog and one of the things I thought of was..."Things that people don't know about me" So that is exactly what I have decided to do. If it doesn't look good on my blog, you will not see it on here anymore but hopefully it will stay.

So I just discovered my new love. It's a new photo editing site, I found it last night. This is my first edited photo and will not be my last from this new wonderful site.

Apple store in Dublin

Well... I haven't gotten the chance to update my blog at all because we haven't had wifi. Soo here am in the apple store in Dublin Ireland doing just that.
It's been amazing!!! We are leaving tomorrow morning unfortunately. So I will be putting up pictures soon when we get home.

Day 2-taking a bite

Sooo we were in the big apple today! And it was surprisingly my first time being in the city. We went to brooklynn heights, time square and central park. It was amazing!! :) I LOVE it.
We saw the pitcher for the phillys; Cole Hamels and his girl who was on survivor (Heidi) Then we almost saw Beyonce like 10 min ago. We were 5 gates away from her but By the time we ran over there she was already chillin in 1st class. So we just missed her.
But our adventure still continues in NyC!

Day 1-Airport time

Well... We made the flight from SLC-JFK. Now we just wait. Meanwhile, people watching is always something fun to do.

Counting it down

The Countdown is on! In about 18 hours the start of a wonderful adventure is going to take place. It will be time to get on a plane and fly to JFK. Then the next step unfortunately, is spending all day in the airport & just waiting to see if we are going to make the Red-Eye-Flight. HOLLLER!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

 

This is a new little project that Cami & I started. We are making use of the Stacks full of old Magazines & turning them into new things... Baskets? Wall decor? We're still working on this little project so its not done yet, but we're hoping to make this one double the size!
