Layover

Last night, we ended up stopping and getting a hotel in Chicago. Then today we went and did a little shopping. And now we are back on the road and ready to go.

The start of a very long trip

Finally! It's time. We are now starting our trek out West. It was delayed for 4 days, due to the case of a horrible cold. 30 hours in one small car=Sleeping time, iPod listening, and some Good quality talks.

I usually dress in bright colors or black. But I am just starting to get into browns. I still like to add a little pop of color though (hence the light blue/green shoes)  Still keepin' it tame though.

You Like What? #1

Many people don't know, but I play the Ukulele. I have been playing for about a year and I absolutely love it! Im not a beginner but I'm definitely not pro, so I guess that would make me fall somewhere in the middle.

New Blog Project:

So this may be a completely dumb idea but I was trying to think of what kind of posts I could put on my blog and one of the things I thought of was..."Things that people don't know about me" So that is exactly what I have decided to do. If it doesn't look good on my blog, you will not see it on here anymore but hopefully it will stay.

So I just discovered my new love. It's a new photo editing site, I found it last night. This is my first edited photo and will not be my last from this new wonderful site.

Apple store in Dublin

Well... I haven't gotten the chance to update my blog at all because we haven't had wifi. Soo here am in the apple store in Dublin Ireland doing just that.
It's been amazing!!! We are leaving tomorrow morning unfortunately. So I will be putting up pictures soon when we get home.

Day 2-taking a bite

Sooo we were in the big apple today! And it was surprisingly my first time being in the city. We went to brooklynn heights, time square and central park. It was amazing!! :) I LOVE it.
We saw the pitcher for the phillys; Cole Hamels and his girl who was on survivor (Heidi) Then we almost saw Beyonce like 10 min ago. We were 5 gates away from her but By the time we ran over there she was already chillin in 1st class. So we just missed her.
But our adventure still continues in NyC!

Day 1-Airport time

Well... We made the flight from SLC-JFK. Now we just wait. Meanwhile, people watching is always something fun to do.

Counting it down

The Countdown is on! In about 18 hours the start of a wonderful adventure is going to take place. It will be time to get on a plane and fly to JFK. Then the next step unfortunately, is spending all day in the airport & just waiting to see if we are going to make the Red-Eye-Flight. HOLLLER!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

 

This is a new little project that Cami & I started. We are making use of the Stacks full of old Magazines & turning them into new things... Baskets? Wall decor? We're still working on this little project so its not done yet, but we're hoping to make this one double the size!
